In the first episode of series three “Moving House”, a scene has been removed. The reason for this is not clear, But its still broadcast on UK Gold uncut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the scene with Frank in the removal van on his way to the new house, the scene with Frank falling into the pot of tar has been cut completely, Only a few lines are on the DVD and VHS release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The following is missing:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After the line “Its no good” from one of the Removal men, The following has been cut:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Removal Man: “You go for an ambulance, I’ll get some help<\/mark>“.<\/p>\n\n\n\n One of the removal men is seen running away from the truck to find some help, a shot of an Indian man is then shown. The bucket of tar (which frank has fallen into) is shown bubbling and the Indian man looks at this looking confused. Frank then emerges, The Indian man calls for his wife to come over. Frank then begins to talk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Frank: “Good afternoon, is this the north end council estate? English man, fallen in the cauldron<\/mark>.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n Frank: “Excuse me its very hot in here. In fact, its boiling. You give me a hand (Frank points at the Indian woman). no no no no, not the head, a hand<\/mark>.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Indian couple than help frank out of the pot of tar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Frank “That won’t do my married life any good, Thank you very much, English man very grateful to Indian brother<\/mark>.” Frank looks at the floor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Frank: “Oh…My saxifrages<\/mark>.” The removal man then comes back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Removal Man: “Mr Spencer<\/mark>.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n Frank: “You will be hearing from my legal department……………..and my Taylor. I only had this on approval<\/mark>.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n Frank then walks up the road, passing his broken furniture on the road Note that in edited versions of this episode, Frank’s line “is this the north end council estate?” still appears as does the removal mans line “Mr Spenser”. But this is the only part of this scene to remain. This results in a strange affect as the removal man is standing at the wrong angle to be able to speak to frank in the pot of tar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u200bThis cut takes place on all commercial releases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Indian man: “Would English brother like a cup of tea?<\/mark>“<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Indian Man: “Me, Buddha sing<\/mark>.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The next scene then shows the Spencer’s new flat, this is where the DVD version starts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
