In the Only fools and horses episode, Miracle of Peckham, the following has been cut from the UK DVD, and also from TV broadcasts. These cut scenes were only present in the original 1986 broadcast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At around 1 minute 29 seconds into the episode, after Albert\u2019s line \u201cyou could at least say you\u2019re sorry\u201d the following line has been cut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rodney: (In a serious tone)\u201cI am Sorry!, now can we just drop the matter<\/mark>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Albert: \u201cCharming ain\u2019t it, you fight and die for your country and that\u2019s the thanks the younger generation gives you<\/mark>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n The DVD then starts again at the line from Rodney \u201cI\u2019m sorry\u201d in a much less harsher tone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Later on in the same scene at around 3 mins 30 seconds, when Del and Uncle Albert are discussing Rodney\u2019s date, after Del\u2019s line \u201cKrystle Carrington? Crystal bleeding palace, more like\u201d the following is cut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rodney: \u201cShe did look, she did look like her actually!\u2026. From a distance<\/mark>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Del: \u201cYeah that\u2019s right, three miles and in a thick fog!<\/mark>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Later in the scene, at around 5 mins 25 seconds into the episode, as Del is about to leave to go to the church, the following is cut after Rodney asks Del where he is going, and he replies \u201cI\u2019m going to church\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rodney: \u201cCome on, where are you going?<\/mark>\u201c<\/p>\n\n\n\n Del: \u201cI am GOING to church<\/mark>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n The DVD version then starts again with Rodney asking \u201cWhy?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Text in red is cut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rodney: \u201cI hate you Albert\u201d The next scene then begins with Del walking in the church.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the church scene with Del and the priest in the confessional booth, about 10 minutes into the episode, some lines have been cut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n After the priest ask if Del is a Catholic, and Del replies that he doesn\u2019t know and states his mum was a catholic, the following lines are lost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Priest: \u201cI know that!, I married her\u2026 here!.. In this church. Your father wasn\u2019t a catholic<\/mark>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Del: “I know, I know, he was a black magic man I think<\/mark>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n The DVD then starts again here with the priest\u2019s line \u201chave you ever been to this church before?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n At around 20 minutes into the episode where Uncle Albert and Rodney are discussing Del and religion. After Rodney\u2019s line \u201cBut how is he going to make money out of the church?\u201d, the following has been cut:<\/p>\n\n\n\n Uncle Albert: \u201cHe\u2019s got that consignment of orthopedic sandals coming soon.<\/mark>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rodney: \u201cYeah so what?.<\/mark>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Uncle Albert: \u201cWell maybe he\u2019s got a franchise on a monastery.<\/mark>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rodney: \u201cMaybe.<\/mark>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Rodney sips his tea.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n The DVD then starts again with the next church scene where journalists are waiting for the miracle. There are no further cuts on the DVD.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Another cut occurs around seven and a half minutes into the episode when Rodney is in the dustbin trying to find a trumpet. The following parts of the scene have been lost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
