Love Thy Neighbor

In the third episode of series one “Love They Neighbor”, a small cut has taken place in the first scene with Frank and Betty on the sofa. In the original version, after Betty’s line “Frank his coming in”, a shot of a TV was shown with Dracula (Christopher Lee) on the screen. In the DVD and VHS versions, this is cut.

Another small edit occurs in the same scene after Betty’s line “His just arrived at the girls house”. In the original version, Another shot of the TV is shown, and on screen Dracula can be seen running. No lines have been lost in these edits. This episode is broadcast uncut on UK Gold, Its likely the rights for the episode did not allow shots of the 1958 movie Dracula to be included in commercial releases.
