Watching the Girls Go By
In the Only fools and horses episode “Watching the girls go by”, two scenes are part cut.
The first scene cut occurs around eleven minutes into the episode. In the scene Del is getting ready to go out and is eating a piece of bread while speaking to uncle Albert. The following line are cut from the scene out.

Del: “I tell you what uncle, phoning round some of your old birds, it naff makes you feel your age.”
Uncle Albert: “Some of them married now are they?”
Del: “A couple of them are dead.”
This scene is missing on all commercial releases, however it is restored on some TV broadcasts.
Another cut occurs in the episode around eighteen minutes in. In the scene where Del meets Yvonne in the club, the scene has been part cut due to music rights issues. The following lines are missing. Note Yvonne is singing most of these lines to Del. The actual song is “Just the way you are” by Billy Joel.

Yvonne: “Deep down inside I’m a singer!, But no-one’ll take me seriously!”
Del: “No, I know. Gives you the ‘ump don’t it, eh? Oi Orlando.”
Yvonne: “I would not leave you in times of trouble.”
Del: “Yeah that’s beautiful Vonny, that is really lovely you know. Yeah you’ll go a long way.”
Yvonne: “We never could have come this far. I took the good times.”
Del: “That’s really nice Vonny, that is yeah beautiful I love it.”
Yvonne: “I’ll take the bad times”
Del: “Yeah super, “Oi Orlando!”
Yvonne: “I love you just the way you are!”
Del: “Gordon Bennett, that’s my bloody ear hole Vonny!”
Yvonne: “Sorry Presh!”
Del: “Stone me, leave it out.‘Ere just a minute. You know my local, don’t you? The Nag’s Head. Well there’s a bit of a do on there tomorrow night, do you fancy going?”
Yvonne: “Will they let me sing there?”
Del: “Well yes, they’ll insist!”
